LuckStar operates under the United States social sweepstakes promotional model. This page explains what that means, the basis on which we operate, and who is eligible to participate.

Our Operating Model

LuckStar is a free-to-play social gaming platform. We do not offer real-money gambling, and we do not require, and do not hold, a gambling or casino operator license. Instead, our prize-eligible games are structured as promotional sweepstakes that are made available to eligible players at no cost.

The cornerstone of this model is simple: no purchase is ever necessary to collect Sweeps Coins or to participate in our sweepstakes, and purchasing Gold Coins does not improve your chances of winning. Free methods of entry — including mail-in entry — are always available and are described in our Sweepstakes Rules.

Not a Gambling Service Gold Coins are for entertainment only and have no monetary value. Sweeps Coins are a free promotional currency. Because participation does not require consideration in the legal sense, our sweepstakes are promotional games of the type permitted in eligible U.S. jurisdictions.

Legal Basis

Our sweepstakes promotions are designed to comply with applicable U.S. federal and state sweepstakes and promotions laws. We operate only in jurisdictions where the social sweepstakes model is permitted, and we restrict access in jurisdictions where it is not. This page is provided for informational purposes and is not legal advice.

Game Content Licensing

While LuckStar itself is not a licensed gambling operator, the games available on our platform are provided under commercial license. Game content is provided by our licensed game-content provider, ICONIC21, under a business-to-consumer license agreement. Game outcomes are determined by a certified, independently testable random number generator supplied by that provider.

LuckStar is not available to residents of, or persons located in, certain restricted states and territories. Restricted jurisdictions currently include, without limitation: Washington, Idaho, and Nevada. This list may change as laws evolve; the current list is maintained in our Sweepstakes Rules.
